Who we are: 

Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long form animated shows distributed on Youtube. Our channel has over 13 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our latest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 350 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come.

Role Information: 

We’re looking for a motivated and diligent Unreal Engine Generalist (Pacific time zone preferred) who is excited to be a part of the Animation/Entertainment industry. The role will see you developing special effects and refining shots in Unreal Engine across our existing shows and a variety of teasers, trailers and shorts. These will be shown on our social media channels and GLITCH Productions Youtube channel - such as our Glitch Inn reveal video or our season announcements.

Your duties will include:

• Identifying and solving technical problems on Unreal Engine relating to special effects, materials, environments and other elements.
• Strong focus on enhancing a shot’s impact by implementing special effects like squibs, muzzle flashes, bullet sparks and a variety of environmental effects like fog and snow on Unreal Engine.
• Exporting shots from Unreal Engine 5 for use in Premiere Pro.
• Managing the post production video editing workflow in Premiere Pro by arranging render footage from various departments in tracks, editing voice acting, sound effects and footage as per director’s requirements. Finally, exporting the episode for broadcast on YouTube.
• Applying and modifying special text and visual graphics to select shots.
• Applying crowd characters and checking their continuity in shots and videos.

A successful candidate will have:

• Experience working with Unreal Engine 5 or a willingness to learn on the job
