Office Manager (Contract)

Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long form animated shows distributed on Youtube. Our channel has over 18 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our biggest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 350 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come.
Role Information:
Our Operations team plays a critical role in enabling our creative and production teams to do their best work. We know when to operate with urgency and when to bring energy and fun to the studio. We’re looking for an experienced Office Manager (6 month contract) to help support and contribute to our high-performing culture.
Your duties will include:
Office & Facilities Management
- Partner with building management, vendors, and studio teams to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the studio.
- Manage office and equipment maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including regular audits and risk assessments.
- Oversee First Aid and Fire Warden programs and maintain emergency preparedness procedures.
- Lead and project manage office renovation and workspace improvement initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to creative and production teams.
- Support the COO in delivering facilities and workplace initiatives across international studio locations, including vendor coordination, process alignment, and operational consistency.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, including collection of mail from the post office as required.
- Be available for occasional domestic and/or international travel to support studio operations and facilities initiatives.
Executive & Operational Support
- Act as the key contact for the COO on all office operations, facilities, and administrative matters.
- Process payment of freelancer and contractor invoices.
- Prepare expense claims and manage credit card reconciliation for finance processing.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel bookings.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Marketing and Merchandise teams to support operational needs and studio priorities.
Studio Culture & Experience
- Plan and deliver studio-wide events and initiatives that foster creativity, connection, and team engagement (e.g. weekly breakfasts, celebrations, mid-year and end-of-year events).
- Support internal communications and maintain updates on the studio intranet.
- Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring studio environment that reflects our culture and values.
A successful candidate will have:
- 2–3 years’ experience in an Operations, Office Management, or Workplace Experience role
- Demonstrated experience providing support to senior executives
- Strong project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with strong time management
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
- Proven experience planning and delivering internal events and studio initiatives
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required
Bonus Skills:
- An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or ‘internet nerd’ culture.
- Engaging personality and willingness to learn.
- Positive, go-getter attitude with a passion for making things.
